How Do I enroll
in
  the Student Health
  Insurance Plan?

Activating the Student Health Insurance Plan is as easy as
1-2-3!

SHI Activation

PLEASE NOTE, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WAIVE THE SHI FOR SUMMER I & II SESSIONS.  YOUR STUDENT ACCOUNT WILL NOT BE BILLED THE SHI PREMIUM FOR THESE SESSIONS.

Please follow the steps below to waive for the
Fall 2009 semester.

*Please note, you MUST complete a new waiver each Fall semester.

Need to know if your health insurance plan qualifies?

• Any commercial health insurance plan that provides insurance coverage in the United States and is comparable to the Student Health Insurance Plan.  (i.e. Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna)

• Medicaid

• Medicare Part A and B

• Tricare (formerly known as CHAMPUS)

• CHAMPVA

• Department of Veterans' Affairs (must be eligible for medical treatment at VA Medical Center and have a valid ID card)

               **All registered students are welcome to use the Student Health Center regardless of their health insurance plan**
